PPD hosts pancake breakfast

PRESCOTT – Monday morning dawned with members of the Prescott Police Department manning the grill in preparation for a pancake breakfast for the community.

Chief Ann Jordan said the PPD started this last year as a way to bond with the community and show the PPD isn’t just about making arrests, but also serving. “I like to see people come together,” she said.

There will be other events hosted by the PPD for the community, starting with National Night Out on Aug. 1, followed by Pastor Appreciation later in August. The PPD will also host a fundraiser for its Cops for Kids Christmas program.
