Texas Woman dies in Interstate 30 crash (Update)

GUERNSEY – A one vehicle crash Monday afternoon claimed the life of a Texas woman. According to the preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police, a 2023 Toyota Camry driven by Rhana Shahi, 29, of Fort Worth, TX was traveling west on Interstate 30 when she apparently lost control, and traveled north across both lanes and entered the north ditch and striking a tree. The victim was transported to Wadley Hospital in Hope where she was pronounced dead by Hempstead County Coroner David Peters at 2:55 pm.

Corporal Darren Henley of the Arkansas State Police was the investigating officer.
