Rick cox was born august 8th 1968 to Dorothy Jean and Wayne Cox of Hope, Arkansas.

Rick was loved by many. He was an employee of the City of Hope for over 20 years and took so much pride in his work and love for all his coworkers. Rick was known as the life of the party. He never thought that his age had anything to do with what he wore, what he ate, or extracurricular activities he participated in. Whether that was attending concerts, festivals, mud bogs, and everything in between. He was known as the first one there because in his words “if you are on time – you’re late!” And the last one to leave. He was a great fisherman and hunter and loved to golf in his free time even though he was known to say a few things that his mama might not be proud of depending on his score. He was a die-hard Hog fan and you learned that you don’t call or intervene when those hogs are playing unless you were his daughter. In his eyes she could do no wrong. He touched hundreds of people’s lives with his charismatic character, his sarcasm, and his contagious laugh and smile. He would give you the shirt off his back if you were in need. He was a devoted Christian and would tell anyone just because he doesn’t attend church like he should, he gives at least 10% of his day to Jesus and it was true. He is now in heaven without pain and that is all we could pray for. He loved his family, kids, and grandchildren more than words could express. He had nicknames for everyone and would tell anyone he was around how proud he was to be my dad and Pops to his grand babies. He will be greatly missed and loved, and his memory will carry on forever.

He is preceded in death by his dad Wayne Cox.
