Truck fire near Saratoga

The Saratoga Volunteer Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire Thursday evening on Highway 355 South, The older truck was blocking the northbound lane at the top of a hill and in a curve when fire units arrived. A pickup was used to pull the truck into a driveway and out of the roadway, where firemen finished their mop-up work. The call came in shortly before 6:00 pm and the location was about 2 miles south of Saratoga. Photos by Dale Gathright, Jr.
