August Rainfall A Little Short in Hope But Rainfall Still Up for the Year
The rainfall in August was a little off from normal but the year-to-date rainfall received was still up for the year in Hope.
August rainfall was 2.38 inches with the normal being 3.04 inches meaning Hope was down .66 for the month. The year-to-date rainfall is 43.33 inches compared to normal rainfall at the end of August of 34.90. At the end of August, Hope was up 8.43 inches on rainfall.
