Partial Eclipse Viewed at UAHT

There was a partial eclipse viewing at UAHT outside Hempstead Hall on Saturday (10/14). Inside was an explanatory viewing of a full eclipse in Utah.  The activity was good preparation for the total solar eclipse set for April 8th of next year.

The optimum viewing for the April 2024 eclipse in our area will roughly follow a path from just south of Hope and I-30 to an area near Fort Smith, Harrison and Mountain Home to extreme northeast Arkansas.  Many people are expected into southwest Arkansas for the 2024 eclipse.
