Shirley Ann Gibson
August 6, 1946 – February 2, 2024
Shirley Ann Gibson, 77 of Lewisville, Arkansas fell asleep in death on Friday February 2,2024, in Hope Arkansas. She was born August 6, 1946 in Lewisville, Arkansas to Davis and Virginia Foster.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister Debra Kay Huckabee and her son Randall Scott Ervin.
She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, R. Steve Gibson of Lewisville Arkansas, her son Mark Alan Jones of Hope Arkansas, her daughter Pamela Ann Anthony and fiancée Russell W. Spivey of Lewisville Arkansas. Her brother Mike and wife Anina Foster of Lewisville Arkansas. Her grandchildren, Jacob Jones, Nickolas Anthony, Katelyn Anthony Walker (Chad A. Walker(husband) , Hayley Skeen and Kyle Gibson. Her nephew Michael H. Foster and niece Christina Wells, and a host of many friends.
Shirley loved her family and enjoyed doing for her grandchildren. She enjoyed going to the summer conventions of Jehovah’s Witnesses and Circuit Assemblies. She said these were her and Steve’s mini vacations. She loved her friends at the
Kingdon Hall and enjoyed the meetings where she learned about her God Jehovah and the wonderful hope the Bible holds out for the future.
Shirley was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses on January 9,1990. She was a beloved member of the Hope English Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
A memorial service will be held Saturday February 10, 2024 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1709 N. Hazel Street, Hope, Arkansas at 2 PM.
