Billie Ruth Loe, age 82, of Prescott, Arkansas was promoted to her heavenly home on February 28, 2024.

Billie was born in Prescott on April 24, 1941, to Britain and Camilla Hancock. She loved the Lord and lived her life exemplifying the fruits of the spirit with kindness, gentleness, patience, faithfulness, self-control, joy, and peace even in the midst of years of fighting cancer. In 1960, she married the love of her life, Will Ed Loe. After 12 years in the Chicago area, they moved back home to raise their two boys. She loved to travel. Whether it be a family vacation, trips and cruises with her sisters, or the multiple visits a year to Branson, she was always ready to go. She was employed at the Nevada County Courthouse for 47 years, until she retired in 2023. She was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church for 52 years and loved working with the Girls Missionary Auxiliary and AWANAs. She loved cooking for her family, and we enjoyed her special tacos, potato salad, pecan pie, and other favorites. She was an inspiration and example to all of us in her words and deeds. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Shirley Jennings and her brother, Larry Hancock.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Will Ed Loe, sons Bobby Loe (Mendy) of Prescott, David Loe (Pat) of Prescott, grandson Drew Loe (Haley) of Bismarck, granddaughter Miley Loe of Prescott, great grandsons, Kaden Loe and Rohen Loe of Bismarck, her sisters Mary Estep (Jerry) of Atoka, Oklahoma and Nina Calhoon (Tom) of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, sister-in-law Phyllis Hancock of Rogers, special boss/friend Julie Oliver, many nieces, nephews, and other friends and family.

Visitation will be held on Saturday March 2, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Saturday March 2, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Central Baptist Church in Prescott with Bro. Mitchell and Bro. Roy Johnson officiating. Burial to follow at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
