Sheryl England, age 71 of Hope, AR, passed away on April 5, 2024. She was born February 27, 1953 in Enid, OK to Erman and Lucille Bright.

Sheryl was a beloved educator and held both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from Southern Arkansas University. She taught Chemistry and Physics for 37 years at Bradley and Spring Hill School Districts, Garrett Memorial, and UACCH. Not only did she pass on her knowledge of science to multiple generations of students, but she also passed on her love of Jesus. She taught Vacation Bible School and chaperoned many church functions. Sheryl loved science and could not have been more excited for the eclipse. She was looking forward to watching it with her grandchildren. She never missed an opportunity to pass on her love of science to them. However, she was called home before she had the chance to experience it. Since she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at 13, we find comfort in knowing that she has the best view possible at the feet of Jesus. Knowing this, it is not goodbye, but simply see you later.

Sheryl is survived by her husband of 47 years Bryan; her son Brandyn (Brandi) and their children Luke and Joanna all of DeWitt, AR; Her daughter Kayla McGee (Dillion) and their children Kailee, Baker, and Maddox; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 10am on Tuesday, April 9th at Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home in Hope, AR. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Shover Springs Cemetery Fund at 110 Hempstead 54, Hope, AR 71801.
