HPD arrests four on felony charges

On Monday, April 8th, 2024, at approximately 1:00pm, Officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Kayla Powell, 33 of Hope, AR. Ms. Powell was arrested in the 400 block of South Washington Street and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. Ms. Powell was held at the Hempstead County Detention Facility pending a first court appearance.

 

On Saturday, April 13th, 2024, at approximately 7:52pm, Officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Dean Soland, 66 of Hope, AR. Mr. Soland was arrested in the 2600 block of North Hazel Street and charged with Domestic Battery 2nd Degree. Mr. Soland was held at the Hempstead County Detention Facility pending a first court appearance.

 

On Sunday, April 14th, 2024, at approximately 2:35pm, Officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Kristin Prince, 26 of Fouke, AR. Ms. Prince was arrested in the 300 block of Highway 32 East and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Ms. Prince was held at the Hempstead County Detention Facility pending a first court appearance.

 

On Sunday, April 14th, 2024, at approximately 3:30am, Officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Alexis Gomez, 19 of Hope, AR. Mr. Gomez was arrested in the 300 block of East 2nd Street and charged with Public Intoxication, Discharging a Firearm in the City Limits and Possession of a Defaced Firearm. Mr. Gomez was held at the Hempstead County Detention Facility pending a first court appearance.
