Hope Farmers Market Holds First Session

The Hope Farmer’s Market had its first market of the summer on Tuesday (5-7).  Produce for sale included cucumbers, cabbages, carrots, radishes, lettuce, potatoes and kale. Basil, dill, kale, borage and tomato plants were for sale.  There were also bowls for sale, fried pies and seasoning packets. The Silvey family sold both regular and sweet breads as well as vegetables. Vendors included Solomon Farm, Fields Farm, Salinas Farm, Papa’s Honey, the Farm on the Hill.
The Famer’s Market plans to hold a farmer’s market this Thursday from 4pm to 7pm as well.
