Lil’ Skinny to Open Concert at 48th Annual Hope Watermelon Festival

Hope, Arkansas –The Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that rising country rock star Lil’ Skinny will open the concert for headliner Rodney Atkins. Known for his high-energy performances and authentic Southern rock sound, Lil’ Skinny is set to deliver an unforgettable show.

Lil’ Skinny’s music is an electrifying blend of Southern Rock, drawing heavy influences from legendary acts like the Black Crowes, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and the Marshall Tucker Band. His vocal style, influenced by Paul Rodgers, and his guitar technique, inspired by Stevie Ray Vaughan and Allen Collins, create a sound that is both powerful and authentic. 

Lil’ Skinny has opened for renowned artists like The Steel Woods, Brent Cobb, and Randy Houser. His music, influenced by legends like Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Black Crowes, blends powerful vocals and electrifying guitar skills. 

We’re thrilled to have Lil’ Skinny kick off our concert,” said organizer Christy Burns. “His talent and energy will set the perfect tone for an incredible night.”

Tickets are available at the Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce and online at www.hopemelonfest.com. Regular tickets are $25, day-of-show tickets are $30, children’s tickets are $10, and reserved seating is $45.
