Dottie F. Dillard, age 82, of Sutton, Arkansas left her earthly home for her heavenly home on June 9, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 25, 1942 to Jeromia Seidal & Dorothy Vera Coffee Jackson in Dierks, Arkansas.

Mrs. Dillard was a faithful member of Bluff Springs Baptist Church. She was a hard worker her whole life with many different jobs. But her favorite was being a homemaker and working the chicken houses with her beloved J.E. Dillard. Later in life, she devoted her time to taking care of others: from sitting with the sick to entertaining children, especially her precious great-grandchildren. Dottie loved the outdoors and enjoyed working in her garden, camping, fishing, making beautiful floral arrangements, doing neighbors & friends hair, cooking and baking, watching her birds, and much more. She treasured every moment spent with family and friends and was cherished by all that knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jay E. Dillard; her parents, Siedal & Dorothy Jackson, two brothers, Travis and Roland Jackson both of Saratoga, Arkansas.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela Jaye Dougan and Marty of Texarkana, Arkansas; Patricia Gaye Messer & Tony of Rosston, Arkansas; two brothers, Theral Jackson of Hope, AR and Larry (Pam) Jackson of Dierks, AR; one sister, Roma Dell Jackson of Dierks, AR; three grandchildren, Jeremy Jay Dougan and wife Ashley of Texarkana, AR, Lea Janae Coker and husband John of Moore, South Carolina, and Trenton Ray Messer of Gurdon, AR; three great grandchildren, Jordan Elizabeth Dougan, Maddie Jay Coker, & Maverick Ray Messer and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be at Brazzel – Oakcrest Funeral Home Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 6-8 pm in Hope, AR. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 12 at 2 pm at Bluff Springs Baptist Church in Rosston, AR with Jeremy Dougan and Bro. Donnie Dillard officiating.
