18th Annual Miss & Mister Watermelon Festival Pageant and Beautiful Baby Contest

HOPE – The Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce the 18th Annual Miss & Mister Watermelon Festival Pageant, scheduled for Tuesday, August 6th at 6:00 PM at Klipsch Auditorium in City Hall. This exciting event is open to boys and girls from 0 to 18 years of age, with no admission fee for the public. All registration forms and fees must be postmarked by July 19, 2024.

This lively pageant is a fantastic highlight of the 48th Annual Watermelon Festival week. Contestants are warmly encouraged to participate in the Watermelon Festival Parade on Monday, August 5th, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Additionally, the Hope Watermelon Beautiful Baby Contest is a charming photo contest for boys and girls aged 0-3. Photos and results will be displayed at the 48th Annual Watermelon Festival from August 8-10, 2024.

Registration forms for both events are available at the Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce, Rae Tay’s, Tickled Pink Boutique, and The Little Things Children’s Boutique. Forms can also be accessed online at hopemelonfest.com along with parade registration.
