A member of the Country Music Hall of Fame who performed twice at Hempstead Hall has died.  Joe Bonsall was the tenor singer with the Oak Ridge Boys for 51 years and passed away July 9th at 76.  Cause of death was complications of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.  Bonsall retried from the group in January.

The Oaks performed at Hempstead Hall in August 2016 and came back for a return engagement in 2022.  Both engagements were to packed houses.
