Highway 355 crash claims life

SARATOGA – Pike County man is dead following an early morning wreck on Highway 355 in Hempstead County. Kenneth Davis, 70, died in the crash this morning.

According to the preliminary report from the Arkansas State Police, Davis was driving a 2017 Peterbilt loaded with logs southbound on Highway 355 between Saratoga and McNab when he left the roadway and overturned. He was pronounced at the scene by Hempstead County Coroner David Peters at 4:50 this morning (7/31).The wreck occurred at 3:30 am. State Trooper Akari Alexander investigated.
