Jackie Byrne Mauled by Dog Running Loose

A Hope woman has suffered serious injuries from a dog on Texas Street.  Jackie Byrne suffered serious hand injuries after a dog broke loose from a tether and knocked her over, mauled her, and attacked her dog.  The dog in question is being held in quarantine by Hope Animal Control.  Byrne said the dog has attacked before when it got off it’s tether.
