Ronda Lynn Brown

Ronda Lynn Brown, age 65, of Texarkana, AR passed away on August 22, 2025 at her home in Texarkana. She was born on April 4, 1959 in Blytheville, AR to Hillary and Genola Leonard, and a big, boisterous family of six brothers and sisters.

Rhonda went to Springhill School, where she played basketball. She was 25+ year employee at Champion Auto Parts in Hope, AR, which was followed by many years of independent housekeeping. Her most treasured role was as devoted wife to her beloved husband, Johnny Brown. She was an avid animal lover, doting on the pets of family and friends and daily caretaking of the birds and squirrels in her front yard. Her faithful birthday and Christmas cards will be missed by all who received them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Kenny Brown, her three brothers, Richard Leonard, Russell Leonard, and Thomas Leonard, and her three sisters, Sue Endsley, Sharon Golden, and Janey Morrow.

She is survived by her stepson, John Brown, Jr and wife Brenda, granddaughters Susanna Brown and Nicole Ferrand, great-grandsons Jayden and Paxten Ferrand, and many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 29th at 10AM at the Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel.

Funeral service will be Thursday, August 29th at 11AM at the Brazzel/Oakcrest Chapel with burial to follow at Piney Grove Cemetery.
