Spring Hill School Board

The Spring Hill School Board met in the Elementary Conference room on Monday, August 12th. There were many items on the agenda. The meeting started with a prayer, followed by the approval of the minutes from the last meeting and of the financial report. Enrollment numbers were not yet available. Wording changes to the handbook were approved as well as the salary for a school resource officer. So were Cafeteria Vendors.
 Expenditures over $5,000 were Lexia and Byte Speed. Lexia is a reading curriculum and the cost is $13,665. Byte Speed is paid for by an 85/15% CTE Grant and will cost the district $6,580. Both were approved.
A Bus Driver increase of $50 per day was approved. So was a Board-to-Board transfer from Lafayette to Hempstead. Then were the Title 1X Procedures Guide, Approval of 24-25 Updated Policies brough the district in line with ASBA policies. Contract Amendments finalized the contracts giving bonuses. The 24-25 Budget was approved. A budget for new paper for the year 25-26 was approved.
There was an executive session with no action taken.
