Pack the Park Car Show in Nashville

Coming up Saturday, Sept. 14th, Nashville, Arkansas…..It’s PACK THE PARK CAR SHOW! This annual event is the main fundraiser for the Howard Co. Historical Society and it will be held at the NASHVILLE CITY PARK, 1301 JOHNSON STREET. Stop by 12-Diciples Coffee Shop on Main Street for a cup then come on out to Pack the Park for a great day of fun and CARS! See the 1957 Ram-Blair-O TEXACO SERVICE TRUCK! It’s the HCHS 10th Anniversary and YEP, they are having CAKE for Everyone! Nationally sponsored by O’Reilly’s Auto Parts. 60 trophies.

The Howard County Historical Society is getting ready for Pack the Park Saturday September 14th. Gift bags and buckets will be awarded to the first 50 cars that register. It’s HCHS 10TH ANNIVERSARY AND YES….there will be a Big Cake for the celebration! Mark your calendar 9am to 2:00 pm in the Nashville City Park!

Howard Co Historical Society board member Marsha Rhodes will be honored at Pack the Park Car Show for her 8 years of dedicated service to the Society.  She has served as a board member, vice presidents, director of membership and chairman of the T-Shirt fund raiser program.  A short plaque presentation will take place as the HCHS celebrates its 10 years of service to Nashville, Howard County and SW Arkansas.

The Howard Co. Historical Society is an Arkansas 501 ( c ) 3 non-profit corporation established in 2014.  The Society is now made up of 2 campuses and 5 museum buildings.  The museum system depends on memberships, private donations and grants to provide a means of historical preservation for the area.   The Pack the Park Car Show is the primary annual fund raiser for the organization and attracts all types of collector automobiles from around the ARKLATEX.
