Southwest Arkansas District Fair Continues Through Saturday in Hope

The Southwest District Fair continues through Saturday at Hope’s Fair Park.  Exhibits do not have to be entered in the country fair to exhibit in the district. One of the Grigsby family who last year won the state Grand Champion Short Hair Bull also won a Arts and Crafts award with repurchased materials.

Events Thursday at the fair include Armband Day between 4pm and 9pm.  The Night Hawk Band performs at 6pm in front of the Coliseum.

Friday and Saturday’s fair events include Roughstock Productions Bull Riding Nationals in the arena at 7:3pm.  Friday at 6pm Wyatt Putman performs in the arena (bull riding ticket required for entry).  Mariachi music will be presented in front of the Coliseum Saturday at 6pm.

A special Armband Day is set for Saturday from 1pm to 5pm.
