Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident Thursday (10-10) shortly before 2pm. The accident occurred on state highway 174 south near the intersection of Hempstead County Road 173 West in front of the old Earl Downs place. Two people were reportedly air-lifted for medical treatment. Responding to the accident were the Spring Hill Volunteer Fire Department, the Hope Fire Department, the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Department, the Arkansas State Police, and Pafford.
