Habitat project on Upper and Lower White Oak Lakes

BLUFF CITY – Arkansas Game and Fish Commission staff, along with White Oak Lake State Park and volunteers from the public, recently completed a habitat project on Upper and Lower White Oak Lakes. Large timber structures were placed at eight new sites on Lower White Oak Lake. On Upper White Oak Lake, PVC and timber structures were placed at three locations, creating two new sites and refreshing a marked habitat buoy.
A special thanks to Mark Shatley and Jeff Berry for helping with habitat construction, and to Perry Richards for donating six PVC structures!
