Incident at Texarkana Regional Airport quelled quickly

TEXARKANA – This morning a juvenile entered the Texarkana Regional Airport   from the general aviation side with an AR-style rifle demanding an airplane. The airport said in a statement, “Thankfully, between the actions of the Signature FBO staff and a local pilot he was subdued quickly without any injuries. The airport is open and secure. We thank everyone for their quick actions and doing their part to keep our community safe.”
