Blevins City Council

The Blevins City Council met in City Hall on Tuesday (2-4). Mayor Bobby Steed resigned his position as Mayor but held on to his position of bush hogging around the sewer system that he has done for 16 years. The Mayor was thanked for his service. His resignation note said he was grateful to have served the city for many years.
John Moore who has lived in Blevins for 20 years and been a Council Member for 4 will take Steed’s place as Mayor.
During the meeting the budget was also approved. The city has received the new computer approved in the previous meeting. Pay increases have been tabled. Also discussed was the issue of parking by a private individual’s house during game nights which recently seems to have stopped.
