Hope Evening Lions Hear Program from Shelby Brown on Hope Hospital
Monday (2-3) night’s program was presented by Shelby Brown, Administrator of the new Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center. She was introduced by club member, Sheila Key, who worked with Shelby under the facility’s prior ownership.
Shelby presented an informative slide presentation and talked about the progress made since Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center began operations in September 2024, immediate plans and needs, long range plans, challenges and services offered.
Shelby answered several questions from club members and encouraged everyone to provide feedback to her regarding positive things and also areas where improvement is needed. She encouraged everyone to support the facility and its many services offered in order to insure a continued hospital presence in Hope and Southwest Arkansas.
Interesting tidbit of info: Shelby is married to Hope native, Allen Brown, who is the Mayor of Texarkana, Arkansas.
