Hope Police announce felony arrests

Hope – On Monday, March 3rd, 2025, at about 12:21 am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Michael Labelle, 27 of Hope, in the 400 block of West Division Street. Mr. Labelle was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Felony), Possession of a Controlled Substance (Misdemeanor), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Obstructing Governmental Operations and Driving While License Suspended. Mr. Labelle was transported to the Hempstead
County Detention Facility and is awaiting a first court appearance.

On Wednesday, March 5th, 2025, at about 11:34 pm, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Tyrone Bishop, 31 of Hope, in the 300 block of South Washington Street. Mr. Bishop was charged with Aggravated Assault on a Family/Household Member and held at the Hempstead County Detention Facility awaiting a first court appearance.
