Wanda “Carole” Malone

Wanda “Carole” Malone, age 76, of Hope, Arkansas passed away on March 10, 2025, in Texarkana, Texas.

She was born on August 26, 1948 in Camden, Arkansas to her parents H.O. and Martha Virgina Smith. She retired from being a nurse after 43 years and she was a member of Wings of Love in El Dorado, Arkansas. She loved anything to do with the outdoors and doing arts and crafts.

She was known for her loving and caring nature. She was the best mother, sister, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Gayle Smith; brother, Vernon Kilburn; grandson, Alex McBride.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jimmy McBride (Michelle), Danny McBride (Donna), Michael McBride (Hazel), Terica Coston (Shane); one brother, Bob Kilburn (Myra), four sisters, Bonita McKnight, Pam Hoyt (Steve), Betty Hill, Nancy Still (Randy); 14 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and 10 nieces and nephews.

The family will have a private service at a later date.
