Hope Tourism Commission

The Hope Tourism Commission met on Tuesday March 11th.  The minutes were approved and the budget was discussed.  One of the commission members raised the concern that revenue is down.  The commission discussed baseball and softball season.  There was some discussion about concessions during the ball games.

The tourism commission discussed Christmas decorations.  Purchasing new lighted wreaths for the poles downtown could cost up to $500 per decoration.  It was recommended to just wrap lights around the poles instead of purchasing new wreaths.

The meeting was then adjourned.
