Manuel Angel Fraire Martinez

Manuel Angel Fraire Martinez, age 49, a resident of Hope, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.

He was born on June 1, 1975, in San Felipe, Rio Grande, Zacatecas, Mexico. He was a Catholic who enjoyed fishing, farming, playing, watching soccer, and attending rodeos. He loved spending time with his kids and cooking for his family, and he would guide people to the right path.

Mr. Martinez was preceded in death by his grandparents and aunts and uncles.

He is survived by his parents, Guillermo Fraire and Monica Martinez; his wife Mariela Martinez; and five children, Tony Fraire of Blanchard, Louisiana, Lizbeth Fraire of Hope, Arkansas, Deisy Fraire of Hope, Arkansas, Manuel Fraire of Hope, AR, Jesus Fraire of Hope, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Melany Fraire, Alexa Fraire, Yeimi Fraire, Angel Ramirez, Emily Ramirez; five siblings, Oralia Fraire of San Felipe, Mexico, Guadalupe Fraire and Salomon Fraire all of San Felipe, Rio Grande, Zacatecas, Lili Fraire of De Queen, AR, and Jose Guillermo Fraire of Blanchard, Louisiana and a number of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Prince of Peace Baptist Church in Hope, Arkansas, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.

Burial will follow in Mexico.

His favorite phrase was “Don’t mess up your hair, just give it your all, and that’s it.”
