Fulton Town Council

The Fulton Town Council met on Monday (5-5).  There was a roll call.  All were present although a couple members were attending virtually.  After the prayer, the last meeting’s minutes were read and it was pointed out there was a spelling error.  There was a motion to accept the minutes as read.

The council discussed the sewer and water expenditures.  There was a question about the meters as Fulton is paying $170.68 per month to use the meters.  All meters have been installed in Fulton except for one.  There was a motion to accept it as read.  Motion passed.
The street fund was also discussed.  For March, $2,015.19 was the income.  The council member that presented it said she hasn’t received April’s report yet.  $200 was added to the Fulton Street Fund. In April, the total street fund balance was $43,152.49.  Some supplies were bought, costing $48.34.  There was a motion to accept the report presented.  There was talk about prisoners coming to Fulton to pick up trash.  The council will buy water and chips for them, along with supplying trash bags.
