Layla Jade Coon

Layla Jade Coon, 24, of Bryant, Arkansas was born on Tuesday, November 21st, 2000, in Texarkana, Texas to Zoey Williams and Gregory Coon. With heavy hearts, we announce that our angel Layla left this world way too soon on Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025. Layla Jade was the embodiment of what it was to be kind. Leaving behind a legacy of kindness and joy, Layla was the bright light in the lives of those who knew her. Through life’s obstacles and accomplishments, she remained true to herself. She had such a giving heart, a beautiful smile, and quick wit, which is why she was such a joy to be around. She enjoyed surrounding herself in nature. Simply being outdoors brought her peace. Layla also loved painting and cuddling her cat, Peaches. She was a 2019 graduate from Bryant High School and then continued her life working at Walmart in Bryant. Though Layla enjoyed many things in this life, creating a life’s worth of memories with her family was the most important to her.
Left to cherish those memories are her loving mother, Zoey Williams; her brother, Corbin Block; her cherished boyfriend, Lance; her grandparents, Garin Wiggins and Beverly Coon; her beloved cat, Peaches; along with other family and friends who all love her and can’t fathom their life without her.
She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Don Williams and Loy Coon.
Layla will privately be laid to rest at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Hope, Arkansas, under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
