Nevada County 4-H Bar B Que Competition Held
On April 25, five Nevada County 4-H youth participated in the county bbq poultry competition held at the Nevada County Fairgrounds.
The youth had two hours prepare and cook four chicken thighs. The top three pieces were then submitted for judging.
In the Senior 4-H division was Jean Swinney.
In the Junior 4-H division was Cora Carlton and Marcus Swinney.
In the 4-H Cloverbud division was Emma Smith and Nolan LaRue.
The Senior and Juniors will represent Nevada County at the District competition on May 22nd in Arkadelphia.
