Hope Police Department promote three officers to Corporal

HOPE – On Thursday, May 8th, the Hope Police Department held a promotion ceremony in which three officers were promoted to the position of Corporal. The Patrol Corporal works under the supervision of a Patrol Sergeant and functions as a patrol officer, an advisor to lower ranking officers, an assistant to the Sergeant while learning supervisory techniques and acts as the Sergeant in his or her absence.
