Leadership Nevada County holds Health & Human Services session

PRESCOTT – Leadership Nevada County held its Health & Human Services session on June 12th. The morning started off at the Nevada County Library. The first thing on the agenda was a panel discussion with, Dr. Michael Young and Kayla Stockton APRN. Then Shelby Brown spoke about the Southwest Arkansas Medical Center in Hope followed by Charity Lowdermilk and Daphne Lambert from Baptist Health Clinic in Prescott.
We also visited Pafford Ambulance Service and The Springs of Hillcrest Health and Rehabilitation Center. The class then had lunch at Trina’s Diner. After lunch we visited the Nevada County Senior Citizens Center and then toured the Department of Human Services where we heard from the director Felicia Furlow.
