Hope Downtown Network Associate Level Hires Executive Director

HOPE – Hope Downtown Network (HDN) Board of Directors along with Mark Miller with Main Street Arkansas recently offered the HDN Executive Director part-time position to current HDN Board Member, Beckie Moore.
Due to the Associate Level Main Street requirements, the HDN board grew from an all-volunteer organization to an organization that now includes an Executive Director working alongside nine board members. The City of Hope and the Hope Tourism Commission are community partners in providing funding for this position.
Beckie Moore has served as Executive Director of various nonprofit organizations in Hope that actually began in 1996 when she served as director of the Clinton Birthplace Foundation. She also served as director of the Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce, Klipsch Heritage Museum Association, and recently, interim director with the Southwest Arkansas Arts Council.
Hope Downtown Network Board President, Steve Harris stated, “The board and I are pleased that Beckie agreed to step into this area of service in our community when we offered her the position of Executive Director. Beckie served in this capacity in El Dorado years ago, and has also served on three Main Street boards in three different states. She not only brings Main Street director experience to this position, but she also brings decades of nonprofit and community development experience. Please join me in welcoming Beckie Moore as our Hope Downtown Network Associate Level Executive Director.”
