One of the highlights of the 49th annual Watermelon Festival’s first day was the Kiwanis Pulled Pork dinner. The club changed their meal from chicken to pork last year and the move proved to be very popular. A good crowd turned out both to eat in the community center and to pick up “to-go” orders. All proceeds go to the Hope Kiwanis Club’s local projects.
