Patty Sue Turner-Updated

Patty Sue Turner, 89, of Spring Hill, Arkansas, passed away on August 8th, 2025, in Texarkana, TX surrounded by her family.

Patty Sue was born on August 13, 1935, in Spring Hill to Roy and Mary Collins. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. After 35 years, she retired from Greening Ellis Insurance Company in Hope to work with her husband on the family farm.

Patty Sue enjoyed mornings with coffee on the porch and checking cows in the Gator with her high school sweetheart and husband of 72 years, Lloyd. She played basketball as a Lady Bear and continued to enjoy going to sporting events to watch her children, grands and great grands. She will be remembered by her family for her daily prayers where she called each of her loved ones by name. Her special ministry was feeding others during both happy and difficult times, where her specialty was chocolate pies and dumplings. Her grands loved her company out in her front yard with her special handmade Coke floats.

Her most treasured moments in life were hearing about one of her family members accepting Christ as their savior. Patty was a woman of unwavering faith, whose love of the Lord shone through every aspect of life. She found solace in prayer, strength in scripture, and peace in promises of eternal life. She shared her faith through kindness, compassion, and an unyielding trust in God’s plan.
