GEORGETOWN NEIGBORS STIRRED BY UNEXPECTED NOTICE

Premier Holdings Broadband Co. of Hope began expanding its broadband service to the Georgetown neighborhood of Hope, located south of W. 16th St. between Georgetown Drive and North Hervey Streets.
Premier Holdings contracted with Rock Drillers of Atkins, a horizontal drilling company, to burrow underground and lay the fiber optic lines. Rock Drillers completed its work and billed Premier Broadband of Hope $16,000 for services rendered. Payment was due August 30,2025. To date, it has not been paid.
On November 1, 2025, Rock Drillers notified eleven homeowners of the Georgetown neighbor with a “Notice of Intention to Claim a Lien” on their properties.
