Since returning from Spring Break Spring Hill has been busy! The Prom is coming up on the 11th with a theme of Masque on the Marsh Bayou Bash. Family and friends are invited by the Junior Class to attend the Grand March at 7. Family and friends are asked to park on the high school side. Blevins School District is busy as a Hornet with Prom coming on April 10th and Seniors vs. Faculty Basketball game on April 29th at 2. The track participants showed well at a recent meet despite their small numbers. Blevins students visited a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Mena. Juniors participated in a Reality Fair with Red River Credit Union. Seniors participated in Interview Day and Hiring Event at UAHT. Nevada’s FFA students were in Fayetteville competing in State CDE contest and wished well. The district recently had parent teacher conferences, a dirty soda bar and a book fair. In the last article the Egg Drop project should have said 6th grade class. There will be an FFA live auction on May 2nd in the High School Cafeteria with dinner at 5 and the auction at 6. Tickets are $10. Sixth grade graduation will take place on May 18th at 6.
