Mr. Bobby Wayne Kesterson, aged 73, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Friday,
May 8 th , 2026, in Birmingham, Alabama. He was born on December 18, 1952, in
Mena, Arkansas, to parents, Wayne Steve Kesterson and Jessie Lee (McCauley)
Kesterson.
Bobby was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Hope and was an
inactive Deacon of the church. He also was a member of the Hope Lions Club, and
an assistant Scout Master of the Boy Scouts Troop 5. Bobby was a member of the
Arkansas State Appraisal Board and owned his own appraisal company for many
years.
Mr. Bobby Wayne Kesterson is preceded in death by his parents, Wayne Steve
Kesterson and Jessie Lee (McCauley) Kesterson; brothers, Donald Lee Kesterson,
and Hollis Keith Kesterson; and by his sister, Carolyn Sue Lawrence. He is survived
by his beloved wife, Doris Kesterson; son, William Kesterson; granddaughters,
Madeline Kesterson and Hannah Kesterson; as well as by a host of nieces,
nephews, other family, and friends too numerous to mention.
Services for Mr. Bobby Wayne Kesterson will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May
15, 2026, at the First Baptist Church of Hope, in Hope, Arkansas. Visitation will be
held one hour prior to the services. Brother Daniel Bramlett will be officiating
under the direction of Beasley-Wood Funeral Home. Interment will follow the
services at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cove, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Eric
Hammonds, Michael Hammonds, Adam Gonzales, Tadd Kesterson, Kipp
Kesterson, and Adam Kesterson.
