The “49’er” at First Baptist Church of Hope heard from Rachel Parson at their meeting on Tuesday (5-12). Parson is on the faculty at UAHT and is also a singer and guitarist. She spoke and played the group some music. Parson also has a new book called “Diary of a Not S Famous Country Singer: My Story of a Girl Singer in an Old School Country Band and My Life-Long Journey with Music.” Parson’s book is available on amazon.com. She is also planning to make her debut at the “Big Pizza Jamboree” May 26th at Fat Tony’s Pizza in Hope.
