HOPE – On Monday, May 11th, 2026, at 9:28am, detectives with the Hope Police Department arrested
Kemauri Conway, 19 of Hope, AR in the 300 block of South Washington Street. Mr.
Conway was charged with Aggravated Assault and Domestic Battery 3rd Degree. Mr. Conway
was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held pending a first court
appearance.
On Wednesday, May 13th, 2026, at 3:15pm, detectives with the Hope Police Department arrested
Bryanna Brewer, 33 of Hope, AR in the 1300 block of East 3rd Street. Mrs. Brewer was charged
with Hindering Apprehension/Prosecution. Mrs. Brewer was transported to the Hempstead
County Detention Facility and held pending a first court appearance.
On Thursday, May 14th, 2026, at 10:54am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested
Dylan Whisenhunt, 20 of Hope, AR in the 2000 block of South Main Street. Mr. Whisenhunt
was charged with Terroristic Threatening 1st Degree and Resisting Arrest. Mr. Whisenhunt was
transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held pending a first court
appearance.
On Friday, May 15th, 2026, detectives with the Hope Police Department arrested Dejzwan
Thrower, 35 of Camden, AR in the 300 block of South Washington Street. Mr. Thrower was
charged with Domestic Battery 3rd Degree and held at the Hempstead County Detention Facility
pending a first court appearance.
On Saturday, May 16th, 2026, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Davante
Purifoy, 19 of Hope, AR in the 1700 block of North Hervey Street. Mr. Purifoy was charged
with Terroristic Act (3 counts), Fleeing and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Mr. Purifoy
was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held pending a first court
appearance.
