HOPE – On Monday, May 18th, 2026, at 3:15pm, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested
Stephen McClure Jr., 37 of Hope, AR in the 300 block of South Washington Street. Mr. McClure
was charged with Sexual Assault 3rd Degree and transported to the Hempstead County Detention
Facility to be held pending a first court appearance.
On Friday, May 22nd, 2026 at 9:34am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Eric
Adams, 45 of Hope, AR in the 2000 block of Holiday Drive. Mr. Adams was charged with
Aggravated Assault on a Family member and transported to the Hempstead County Detention
Facility to be held pending a first court appearance.
