John “Frankie” Thrasher, Jr., 84, of Gurdon, Arkansas, passed away on June 11, 2026.
He was born April 29, 1942, in Camden, Arkansas, to the late John and Sue Whitley Thrasher.
Frankie retired from the Gurdon School District as a member of maintenance staff. He truly enjoyed being out in nature hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Preceding Frankie in death are his parents and sister, Vivian Gorman.
Frankie is survived by his wife, Linda Thrasher; sister-in-law, Charlotte Robinson of Benton, AR.; nephews, Steven Gorman (Jessica) and Michael Gorman, both of Hampton, AR.; niece, Regina Icenhower (DeWayne) of Benton, AR., and other family members.
In place of a formal service, Frankie always stated he wanted his family and friends to just go out and enjoy the great outdoors in memory of him.
