
Archie Donell Wingfield was born, June 20, 1963, to the late, Archie Lee and Margaret
Wingfield in Hope, AR.
As a child, he professed Christ as his Lord and Savior and became a lifelong member of
St. Paul CME Church, where he was an active member until his passing.
Archie was a top graduate and basketball player of Lincoln High School, Class of 1981.
After completing his high school education, he became a dedicated employee with
Tyson and Klipsch Corporation, until his health began to decline. He also attended Red
River Vocational Technical College receiving a certificate in Air Conditioning and
Refrigeration.
He had a true passion for sports, blues and family.
On Friday, June 19, 2026, his earthly journey was complete. He leaves to cherish his
memory, sons, LaQuinton (Shemeka) Wingfield of Dallas, TX and Keterrius Wingfield of
Hope, AR; sister, Cynthia Stuart of Little Rock, AR and brother, Eric (Ronda) Wingfield
of Dallas Texas; six grandchildren, Khalib-Amir Wingfield, Amour Wingfield, Alice
Wingfield, Keterrius Wingfield Jr, Kwamae Wingfield, and Jakaylen Wingfield; nieces,
Richedra (Raymond) Shaw of Benton, AR; Zora Wingfield of Dallas, TX; nephews,
Justin (Laura) Stuart of Little Rock, AR, and Raymond Jr. and Rylan Shaw of Benton,
AR. Also, special friend who was raised as his sister, Earnestine Greene of Dallas, TX
and nephew/godson, Julian Williams also of Dallas, TX.
Archie is proceeded in death by parents, Archie and Margaret Wingfield; sisters,
Carolyn and Joyce Wingfield; grandparents Jim and Josie Wingfield, and Louis and
Anna Ealey; uncle, Sam Wingfield; and brother-in-law, Jerry Stuart.
