The Joyful Four/Purifoy Boys will perform at the NCTS/Oak Grove School Reunion Banquet on Sunday, July 5, 2026. The banquet will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Nevada School District in Rosston, Arkansas.
Originally, The Joyful Four/Purifoy Boys were scheduled to provide the banquet entertainment. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the keynote speaker, Dr. Rev. Cletis Stuart, was unable to attend. As a result, The Joyful Four/Purifoy Boys will present a special musical program during the banquet.
The Joyful Four was founded in 1995 by Marshil Purifoy, along with original members Harvest Ingram, Earnest Purifoy, and Lou Ellor Ingram. Over the years, the group has been blessed to welcome additional members, allowing its ministry to grow and reach audiences both near and far. Through their heartfelt gospel music, The Joyful Four has ministered at concerts, church anniversaries, festivals, benefits, reunions, and many other special events.
As the ministry continued to flourish, it inspired the formation of a younger group affectionately known as the Purifoy Boys. The Purifoy Boys consist of Marshil Purifoy’s sons—Phillip, Kaniel, and Andrew Purifoy—and his nephew, Jeremy Purifoy. They are dedicated to honoring the group’s legacy by continuing to minister alongside The Joyful Four and carrying its mission to future generations.
Founder Marshil Purifoy shares:

The members of The Joyful Four/Purifoy also express their gratitude:

The Joyful Four/Purifoy continues to glorify God through song, sharing a message of faith, hope, and encouragement wherever the Lord leads.
2026 NCTS/Oak Grove School Reunion Festivities

- Registration: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
- Reunion Picnic: 12:00 p.m. until, at the Oak Grove Community Outreach Center in the Oak Grove Community (Rosston)
- Saturday, July 4
- Reunion Ball: 8:00 p.m. – 12:00 midnight, at the Oak Grove Community Outreach Center.
- Sunday, July 5
- Reunion Banquet: 6:00 p.m., Nevada School District, Rosston, Arkansas, featuring a special performance by The Joyful Four/Purifoy.
All former NCTS/Oak Grove alumni, family members, and friends are invited to attend this special weekend of fellowship, memories, and celebration.
