The Kinsmen Quartet from central Arkansas sang Sunday (6-28) at Union Baptist Church near Bodcaw. The group is renowned for their outstanding harmonies. Their bass singer is Gerald Williams who will be 93 in October. Williams sang for many years with the Melody Boys Quartet. Williams also lived in Hempstead County for a time in 1956 and 1957 during which time he pastored a church near Blevins and worked at KXAR.
The group thanked Bro. Joe Brown for inviting them to Union Baptist.
