HOPE – The Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the 5th Annual Watermelon Walk Window Decorating Contest, a fun and festive tradition that brings the community together during the 50th Annual Hope Watermelon Festival – Golden Jubilee Celebration.
Businesses, organizations, and individuals are invited to participate by decorating their storefront windows with eye-catching watermelon-themed designs that reflect this year’s official festival theme, “Golden Jubilee.”
Participants will have the chance to compete for awards in three categories:
🍉 Most Creative
🍉 Best Use of Theme
🍉 Best Overall
“There’s no better way to show community pride and get into the festival spirit than joining the Watermelon Walk,” said Christy Burns, Executive Director of the Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce. “We can’t wait to see the creativity shine across our community as we celebrate 50 years of sweet tradition.”
