
June Lane Wynn Porter, age 83, of Tyler, Texas passed away peacefully and loved by family July 5, 2026. June was born July 29,1942 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Everett and Evelyn (Henry) Wynn.
She graduated from Prescott High School. She was married to Robert Porter for 32 years and assisted him in his vending and jukebox business.
June was a devoted Christian and lifelong member of the Church of Christ. June was known for her love, compassion, always thinking about the needs of others, and being thoughtful in celebrating special moments in others’ lives. She was also known for her beautiful handwriting, sweet laugh, sparkling eyes, and good sense of humor.
After moving to Tyler, Texas in 2022 to be near family, June developed friendships with a group of Christian ladies from Shiloh Road Church of Christ. June deeply enjoyed spending time with these Christian sisters as they were encouraging one another, studying the Bible together, sharing joyful times, and supporting each other through difficult times.
She is survived by her grandson, Brock Barksdale. She is preceded in death by her father, Everett Wynn; mother, Evelyn Henry Wynn Adcock; husband, Robert Porter; son, Michael Barksdale; and sisters, Sally Rose Williams and Betty Ann Wynn.
June will be remembered at a funeral service in Hope, Arkansas at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home on July 18, 2026. Visitation is at 10:00 am. The funeral is scheduled at 11:00 am. A burial service held for the family will follow at Bluff City Cemetery. June will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Her kindness and unwavering faith will continue to inspire her loved ones and friends.
